Annabel Clark always had a love of jewels, gems, and sparkly things. Her creativity took a different turn, when after studying French literature at Boston University, she was approached by a modeling scout, which led her to New York City. She has appeared in many magazines,and catalogs including W, Vogue, Glamour, Ralph Lauren, La Perla, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Having worked in the fashion industry for 10 years,Annabel developed a true appreciation for the "unique", and the Bella nyc jewelry line was born in 2003. Influenced by her time spent in many different countries, Annabel creates worldy pieces that are reminiscent of heirlooms, but that also seem modern at the same time, which makes her line appealing to a wide age range. The designs include semi-precious stones,and pure gold layered over bronze original hand forged castings, to create unusual, distinct pieces, that stand out. Bella nyc has been featured in Daily Candy, InStyle, Lucky, Elle, Brides, and The NY Times. Based in New York City, the Bella nyc line has achieved international recognition, and can be found in upscale department and specialty stores worldwide, including, New York, London, and Paris.
